The workshop that took place at the Tiko Council Banquet Hall, was organised by Tiko Council in partnership with the South West Regional Tax Centre and Ministry of Decentralization and Local Development.

Opening the questions and answers session that brought together Economic Operators throughout the municipality from Mongo, Tiko, Mutengene and Likomba Zones, the Mayor of Tiko Council HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III called on the chief of Taxes Tiko to organised more meetings subsequently for Tax payers in his municipality to know what is happening with the new Finance law and how they can go about with it.

The chief Shepherd of the gateway city, Mayor Mesoso III, added that the Economic Operators should be attentive after the presentations of the introduction of the new law, it’s difficulties and way forward.

Two key presentations by the Divisional chief of Taxes Tiko, Mr Wandji Ngoule Paulin on ; the innovation of the new law on Local Tax and innovation of Revenue were presented to enlightened the Tiko Tax Payers.

The meeting witnessed the presence of the Regional Delegate of Decentralization and Local Development South west, Mr. Agbor Teddy, the Secretary General of Tiko Council, Mrs Eri Ita Tatason, chief of Administration, Mrs Coretta Mesinze, Chief of Personnel, Mrs Carolinda Bih, chief of Recovery, Mrs Josephine Masar, chief of Town planning, Engineer Esunge John amongst others and Taxation officials from Tiko.
