The Bishop of Buea Diocese, His Lordship Michael Bibi, visited the site of the ghastly accident in Mutengene, South West Region of Cameroon.
During the visit, the Chief Shepherd of Buea Diocese lamented the sad incident that happened on Saturday, February 17th 2024, which claimed the life of a student and destroyed properties.
The deceased, Yemih Nestor, was the Best Form Two student at Cambridge College, Mutengene.
The uncontrolled car also damaged the fence of Regina Pacis Hospital, Mutengene.
Sources emphasise that the main cause of the February 17 accident was brake failure.
