The newly constructed Saint Augustine Nursery and Primary School Boma Street-Tiko has been consecrated and handed over to the staff and management of the institution.
The ultra-modern architectural masterpiece, constructed from the benevolence of a Good Samaritan, who preferred to be anonymous, was consecrated by the Proprietor of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Buea, the Most Rev Michael Bibi, and handed over to the staff and management of the institution.
This was during a two-day pastoral visit to Saint Joseph’s Parish Tiko.
Handing over the structure to the staff and management of the school in the presence of the Catholic Education Secretary, Rev. Fr. Vincent Mesue, the Prelate urged all present to make good use of the infrastructure, put at their disposal thanks to the benevolence of an individual.
Bishop Michael Bibi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the benefactor, whom he said has assuaged the precarious learning conditions of close to 1000 young Cameroonians and has given them a new impetus to dream big. He prayed God to bless and reward the benefactor abundantly.
To the pupils of the school, the Prelate exhorted them to take their studies seriously. According to him, it is only by working hard that the pupils can show gratitude to the benefactor for his kindness.
