Civil Status Secretaries from Tiko, Buea, Limbe 1 and Idenau councils in Fako Division have been drilled on the mastery on the digitalization process of the country’s Civil Registration Vital statistics.
This was during a three day seminar that started on Tuesday February 20,2024 at the Hotel Prince de Galles in Akwa, Douala.
The session organized by GIZ/ PAMEC II, is for the civil status secretaries to be vested with the difficulties faced since the process was installed, benefits and Solutions.
The participants were privileged to have a practical session on the electronic Management of the system and other options. The participants raised difficulties they faced such as; constant power failure, poor Network, transfer of Civil Status acts from Manual to Digital options of placing date, year, and place of birth on Declaration Judgement and Notification.
It should be noted that Tiko Council, the gateway city was represented at the workshop that ends today Thursday February 22,2024 by the chief of Bureau for civil Status, Mrs Anna Enanga and Mr Douala Dipita, chief of Bureau Socio-cultural and Litigation.
