Commission members for the construction of the Tiko Airport, headed by Fako SDO, Mr. Chaibou on Tuesday visited the site located at Camp 8 heading towards Miselelle village for the demarcation and evaluation works to secure the sites of the airport.
The SDO for Fako was accompanied by the D.O for Tiko, Mr. Voh Armstrong, Mayor HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III, officials of Betan Energy, representative from the Cameroon Development Corporation amongst others.
During the visit, the members evaluated work done so on the over 500 hectares of land with pillars being mounted to indicate the 4km length limit of the Tiko Airport and 1.8km width.
The members were satisfied with work done so far as to the demarcation process of the Tiko Airport land from CDC that will pave the way for the construction proper.
