On Thursday July 21, 2022 the site (situated behind the Government School Upper Costains) to host a modern multi-purpose Youth and Empowerment centre in Tiko Sub Division foundation stone was laid.
The ceremony that was presided over by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Fotso, was attended by the SG at the SW Governor’s office, the Mayor of Tiko Council HRH Chief Peter Ikome Mesoso III, the D.O of Tiko municipality, traditional and religious authorities and the engineer of the project.
To Minister Mounouna Fotso, the project is first of its kind in tbe SW region under his ministry and will go a long way to help the youths of Tiko subdivision in particular and SW in general.
Ivo Ngong Mua is the Station Manager of Tiko Council community radio and Communication Officer of Tiko Council.
