The Congress that took place at CDC SS Club in Tiko was attended by other unions representatives such as CAAWOTU, FAWU and CGT Liberte, Staff representatives and the Divisional Delegate of Labour and Social Security Fako.

Speaking during the Congress, the President of FINAAWU, Mr John Ephanga Litumbe outlined some of the achievements since it’s creation such as Sensitization and education of workers in the field, FINAAWU winning the first ever Board Election representative, amongst others.
It should be noted that FINAAWU which was created in October 2015, with it’s headquarters in Tiko, has over 3300 members with 90 Staff representatives at CDC, PHP and BOH plantations.
Ivo Ngong Mua is the Station Manager of Tiko Council community radio and Communication Officer of Tiko Council.
