Militants of the Fako IV section of the ruling CPDM party in Tiko today Friday March 24th, 2023 celebrated the 38th anniversary of the party.
Celebrated with theme “Rejoicing, gathering and mobilizing behind the National President Paul Biya in full awareness of the challenges and future electoral stakes”.
The militants drawn from the various sub-sections that make up the party came out in their numbers at Holforth Field in Tiko to celebrate the anniversary.
The celebration that was spiced with speeches from the Presidents of YCPDM, WCPDM, CPDM and central committee delegation saw animation from dance groups drawn from the various sub-sections of Fako IV.
The militants on their part promised the hierarchy for a 100 percent votes in upcoming elections. It should be noted that the militants of Fako IV celebrated the anniversary with the re-election of one of their militant, Lionel Fonderson Papinatu as senator as to the last March 12th Senatorial Election.
The celebration saw the presence of the Mayor of Tiko Council, HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III, Regional and Municipal Councillors, the Administration of Tiko Sub-Division and a cross section of the population.
It should be noted that the CPDM party was created on March 24th, 1985 in Bamenda.
