The Uncle Nji Computer Video Coverage and Charity Center under the stewardship of Rev. Nji in collaboration with Dr. Teboh Peter gave out bags of rice and salt to some widows, disabled persons, orphans as well as internally displaced persons.
This event took place yesterday 9th February 2023 at the Longstreet neighborhood in Tiko, with about 100 persons present. Rev Nji the Founder of Fire of Jesus Ministry considers charity to be a voluntary extension of help towards the needy and suffering.
Dr. Teboh Peter an American-based Cameroonian, President of the Association of Cameroonians in Arizona – CAMAZ reiterated on the fact that to help someone doesn’t cost much and should be from the heart no matter how small you have to offer, and also encouraged Cameroonians in the diaspora to offer a helping hand to their brothers and sisters here in Cameroon.
With immense joy felt by all those who received a package or two, words of appreciation was shared by the President of Handicaps Mutengene on behalf of all those present reiterating that they would like to hold strong the adage ‘Don’t just give us Fish everyday but also teach us how to Fish’ thereby making an appeal that workshop be organized that can train them.
It is worth noting that there is a school in Likomba Quarter Six (6) called Chosen Bilingual Nursery and Primary school founded by Madam Anzah Gladys who believes that changing Likomba for tomorrow is by educating and providing the needs of the young.
Mary Ndinge Lyonga is a marketing assistant at Eagle Wings and Spice Located at Mutengene, Tiko Road.
She was once a Volunteer at the Tiko Council Community Radio for a period of 3 months under the Leadership of Mme Sarah Nkongho as the Station Manager. She is a graduate from the department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Faculty of Social and Management Science, University of Buea.
