Hon. Fritz Ngeka Etoke has made good on his promise to fans and management of Tiko United FC this off season.
The SW FECAFOOT 1st Vice President and President of Etoke Sports Academy extended his charity after a friendly on Saturday, which pitted Etoke Sports Academy against Tiko United FC, at the Town Green stadium in Tiko.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Etoke thanked the Samba Boys for being a worthy Ambassador over the years, stressing the importance of working in synergy to bring back the club glory era.
He underlined his undying support to the 2009 champions of Cameroon, promising to do more if the Samba Boys secure an Elite Two berth this season.
In his reaction, Tiko United FC President Atabong expressed gratitude to Hon. Ngeka and urged other stakeholders to reciprocate his kind gesture.
Reacting, fans thanked Hon. Ngeka and said they will not let him down this season.
During the event, the husband of all the widows in Tiko and the father to the less-privileged in Tiko subdivision donated the following items to the mother team of Tiko subdivision:
1) 200.000 FCFA to enable the team take off for the new season.
2) 3 Fifa-approved balls.
3) A complete set of jerseys.
4) Offered two buses to transport players and supporters to and from the stadium on the opening day.
5) He has also promised to give the team an additional match bonus if they win the first match.
He says in the days ahead some regional teams will also benefit from his humanitarian gesture.
