Telecom Egypt SC secured a narrow 1-0 home win over Raya, but all eyes were on their new signing, Kache Boris, who made a memorable debut. The former Bamboutos striker was introduced in the final quarter of the match and wasted no time making an impression.
Despite playing just 15 minutes, Kache Boris wowed everybody, leaving both his coach and the club’s management thoroughly impressed.
During his brief appearance, Boris tallied 17 touches, 4 interceptions, 3 progressive passes into the final third, and 2 shots on goal. His performance comes as a relief for Telecom Egypt, who handled his integration cautiously due to injuries he sustained last season with Bamboutos.
The victory keeps Telecom Egypt SC in second place on the league table with 18 points, just two behind leaders Wahdi Degla. With Boris now fit and showing early signs of brilliance, the team looks well-positioned to challenge for the top spot.
