Maflekumen University Institute of Tiko today Saturday April 8th, 2023 educated students from high schools in Tiko on entrepreneurial perspective during a one day seminar on Food Science.
Over 100 students drawn from high schools throughout Tiko sub-division attended the session that took place at the conference hall of the Divisional Office in Tiko.
The seminar with theme “A right career choice today shall be the professional reward tomorrow” had series of presentations with resource persons such as Mr. Cordind Wunde who focused on Food Composition, Madam Maka Blandine who focused on Food Bone Diseases and Prevention among others.
Opening the session, the CEO of Maflekumen University Institute of Tiko, Dr. Anslem Akume Ewang called on the high school leavers to take the seminar serious as it will go a long for them to be professionally rewarded tomorrow.
He went further that this session will help to increase their academic output as it is timely coming at a time when they are a month to their end of course examinations.
The seminar witnessed questions and answers sessions with the participants at the end going home with certificate of participation.
It should be noted that Maflekumen University Institute of Tiko is dedicated to Christ the King and mentored by the University of Buea, runs two campuses with the School of Health and School Business Administration in Tiko.
