Meet Tiko-born FRANCIS ELIVE LYONGA popularly known as “ZAMBE L’HOMME D’ÉTAT (PRÉSIDENT)”, a resident of street 7 Tiko.
Francis Elive is a Cameroonian footballer and a Sports and Physical Education Instructor with a Professional Masters Degree in Physical Education and Sports.
President ZAMBE as commonly known is a house hold name in sports and football in particular, former footballer who played with the likes of EEMSA Tiko, Tiko United FC, Gold Medalist With The University Of Buea Football Club (University Games Ngoa Ekelle 2015) and later played with Matelots OF Douala where he was lastly seen on the pitch during the 2014/2015 football season.
Francis Elive went to Government Technical College (GTC) Tiko and Modern College Of Technology (STARMOTEC) Tiko where he obtained his Baccalaureate Certificate in 2014.
ZAMBE has been the most successful young captain and leader during his school days, from GTC to STARMOTEC, through his numerous leadership skills in various competitions in Tiko sub-division and South West region in general.
ZAMBE is a graduate from the National Institute of Youth and Sports INJS-NIYS Yaounde in 2021, he is a Senior Sport and Physical Education Teacher and presently working at the General Inspectorate of Services at the Central Service of MINSEP Yaounde.
It is noted that President Francis ELIVE LYONGA ZAMBE L’homme d’État (State Man) is a football fan and due to his numerous skills and experience in the game, he is that author of two Dissertations entitled “THE RECRUITMENT APPROACH OF PLAYERS AND IT’S EFFECTS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF TIKO UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB FROM 2007 TO 2017” (Defended in 2018 ) and “,THE TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT AND PERFORMANCE OF TIKO UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB” (Defended in 2021).
The Tiko wonder boy ZAMBE was member of the LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE (SITE COMMISSION) FOR THE CHAN CAMEROON 2020 AND CAN TOTALENERGIES CAMEROON #AFCON 2021.
In 2017, he was elected as the pioneer Student President of the National Institute of Youth and Sports and doubles as a Member of the Board of Directors at the prestigious Institution for 4years from (2017-2021), presently he is enrolled in the University of Bamenda where he is doing his Academic Degree in Physical Education and Animation.
Mary Ndinge Lyonga is a marketing assistant at Eagle Wings and Spice Located at Mutengene, Tiko Road.
She was once a Volunteer at the Tiko Council Community Radio for a period of 3 months under the Leadership of Mme Sarah Nkongho as the Station Manager. She is a graduate from the department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Faculty of Social and Management Science, University of Buea.
