Fako Division witnessed a remarkable show of solidarity on September 14, 2025, as Secondary Education Minister Prof. Nalova Lyonga donated school supplies to technical colleges and extended financial aid to women’s groups.

Speaking at the CPDM Party Secretariat in Limbe, the Minister said her gesture was to ensure children study “with dignity and without excuse,” while also empowering mothers who stand behind every child’s success.
The Divisional Delegate for Secondary Education, Dr. Lyonga John Efande, described the donation as timely, recalling how technical textbooks have remained scarce even when parents had the money.

On behalf of beneficiary schools, GTHS Ombe Principal Sam Kale Singe hailed the government’s efforts in promoting technical education. He stressed that the intervention had lifted a heavy burden from parents, teachers, and especially the students.
Songs, applause, and gratitude marked the day, leaving a message of hope across Fako.
