Mrs Emilien Effimaka has been installed as the pioneer female Market Mistress of the Mutengene Market in Tiko municipality.
She was installed on Tuesday July 22, 2025 at the Mutengene Market by the chief of Administration Tiko Council, Mrs Coretta Mesinze in the presence of the chief of Personnel, Madam Carolinda Bih, Chief of Local Solution, Mr Julius Sone, chief of Recovery Josephine Masar, chief of Litigation, Mr Douala Dipita, Bureau head Finance, Fombon Patrick, Communication officer, Ngong Ivo Mua, market Management Committee head, Mr.Gideon Mbeli and Traders of the market.
The handing over ceremony that was highly attended by Traders of Mutengene Market, saw Mrs Emilien Effimaka taking over from Mr Ekilli Maurice who has been send to the Treasury Service as a Staff.
During the handing over , the president of the Mutengene Market management Committee, Mr Gideon Mbeli outlined some of the worries they faced in the market such as; inadequate Toilets, Security, Electricity and Drainage amongst others.
Ivo Ngong Mua is the Station Manager of Tiko Council community radio and Communication Officer of Tiko Council.
