Prime Minister Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute visits Tiko.

The atmosphere in Tiko on Friday, September 26, 2025, was filled with pomp and excitement as residents welcomed Prime Minister Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute.

Despite the scorching heat, the population gathered to witness the PM inspect and assess ongoing rehabilitation works on the 3 km road leading to the Tiko Wharf, which is currently 46% complete.

During the visit, Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute seized the moment to call on the people of Tiko Municipality to rally behind President Paul Biya in the upcoming elections.

He stressed that a resounding victory for the Head of State will maintain “the son of the soil” as Prime Minister and guarantee further development for the region, including the completion of the Tiko Wharf, and construction of the Tiko International Airport.

The Prime Minister emphasized that supporting the Head of State ensures continuity in leadership and unlocks opportunities for jobs, growth, and prosperity for Tiko and the South West Region.
