The tragic incident happened at quarter 9 in Likomba, Tiko subdivision.
We learnt that, a 20 years old nursing mother gave her baby the popular and restricted sleeping tablet called tramadol in order to go and have some party time with her friends in a night club.
Unfortunately for her, the child will die in his sleep due to the harshness and negative effect of the drug on children of younger age.
The grandmother of the girl has confessed that, the 20 years old girl always gave the poor child the drug in attempt to kill him. Said she noticed this a while ago, did not know it was the drug but warned her though she didn’t yield to her advice.
An angry population turned up in the morning and got the girl well beaten before the child was buried.
