Tiko United FC faced Cinyodev FA in yet another fierce encounter today Saturday, June 3rd 2023 at the Tiko Town Green Stadium. The Samba Boys came in very determined and focused having more than 70% of ball possession during 1st half of play.
Within 25 minutes of play with several misses on target, Patrick Kuntz of Tiko United FC had a perfect delivery into the goalkeeper’s net giving the Samba Boys a 1-0 lead at half time.
Upon resumption of the 2nd half, both teams exerted pressure on each other as Cinyodev FA looked for an equalizing goal to no avail. At full time, the score still stood at 1-0 thus Tiko United FC securing their spot at the Mini-Interpools.
Ajax Likomba FC vs Aljazeera Sporting Academy
Starting the match with just 8 available players, things were not looking good for Ajax Likomba FC as their opponent Aljazeera Sports Academy Muyuka mounted pressure with 90% ball possession today Saturday, June 3rd 2023 at the Tiko Town Green Stadium.
Obi Essomba of Aljazeera SA scored their 1st goal within 10 minutes of play into the 1st half after several missed attempts on target.
After a missed penalty by Vatiantoh Fritz Gerald of Ajax Likomba FC, the player was able to redeemed himself by scoring an equalizing goal that took the scores to 1-1 at half time.
The versatile Obi Essomba of Aljazeera SA was able to score a second goal that gave his team a 2-1 win against Ajax Likomba FC at full time.
Little Foot FC vs Livanda Lions FA
Little Foot FC settled for a share of the spoils with Livanda Lions FA in match day 12 of the South West Regional League in Pool A.
A first half goal from Ekene Calistus of Livanda Lions FA after an inch perfect delivery from their right-back lifted the spirits of their fans but unfortunately they could not hold on to the lead.
Little Foot FC fought back during the second half and got their equalizer through Akembong Maron.
The draw was not a welcomed result for either teams.
