Tiko Council under the stewardship of Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III on Wednesday October 15, 2025 handed Minimum Package to the Inspector of Basic Education Tiko to boost the 2025/2026 Academic year in the Municipality.
The exercise which is a yearly tradition by Tiko Council to Government Nursery and Primary schools throughout the Municipality, took place at the Inspectorate of Basic Education Tiko.
Handing the Minimum Package on behalf of Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III, Tiko Council Fourth Deputy Mayor, Waindim Rudolf called on the Head Teachers to use the package judiciously and put in their effort so that End of Course Results will improve in the Municipality come June 2026.
Receiving the Minimum Package, Tiko Inspector of Basic Education, Mrs Elizabeth Mbong Ekane thanked Tiko Council headed by Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III for always putting the Basic Education sector first in their yearly activities.
The ceremony was attended by Tiko Councils Stores officer, Miss Belta Nayongo, Head Teachers of Some Nursery and Primary schools in Tiko, Staff of the Inspectorate of Basic Education Tiko among others.
