Tiko Council on Thursday November 9th, 2023 empowered some vulnerable persons and small business owners in the municipality to improve on their livelihood.
The exercise that took place at the Tiko Council banquet hall was part of activities amongst others during the Tiko Council program budget orientation debate for the next three years.
Handing the gifts to the beneficiaries, the Mayor of Tiko Council HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III called on them to use it judiciously as it will go along way to improve on the standard of living of their families.
A blind person was offered an ice cream machine as well as an internally displaced lady who received a sewing machine.
The business owners on their part were given items that will improve on their day to day functioning.
