The Mayor of Tiko Council, HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III as part of his end of year communion with his people for them to celebrate the New Year on Sunday December 31st, 2023 brought smile to the faces of orphans in Tiko Municipality.
The Mayor as a yearly tradition, gave beef, bags of rice and vegetable oil to some orphanages like Dorcas, Orphanage of All Nations amongst others to celebrate the New Year.
To one of the proprietor of the orphanages, the gesture by the mayor is timely as it will go a long way to make the children celebrate the New Year with smiling faces.
It should be noted that this is not the first time Mayor HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III is celebrating End of Year festivities with orphans in Tiko municipality, even before he became mayor he has been doing such to the point he was named a philanthropist and the Father of all.
Mary Ndinge Lyonga is a marketing assistant at Eagle Wings and Spice Located at Mutengene, Tiko Road.
She was once a Volunteer at the Tiko Council Community Radio for a period of 3 months under the Leadership of Mme Sarah Nkongho as the Station Manager. She is a graduate from the department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Faculty of Social and Management Science, University of Buea.
