Mukoko’s Hope Foundation in collaboration with the Delegation of Women Empowerment in the Southwest region of Cameroon, organized a training program aimed at educating rural women in the Tiko Subdivision on Gender equality, girls rights and women empowerment to commemorate the International Women’s Day on the 8th of March 2021.
The training program brought together over 200+ widows from different women and widow associations registered under the Delegation of women’s empowerment in the division. The training was a transformative process aimed at providing knowledge, techniques and tools to enable women understand their rights and how to ensure equality among girls and boys in their households.
Mary Ndinge Lyonga is a marketing assistant at Eagle Wings and Spice Located at Mutengene, Tiko Road.
She was once a Volunteer at the Tiko Council Community Radio for a period of 3 months under the Leadership of Mme Sarah Nkongho as the Station Manager. She is a graduate from the department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Faculty of Social and Management Science, University of Buea.
