Bali Manjong Community in Mutengene hails Mayor Mesoso III for development strides in Tiko

The Bali Manjong Community in Mutengene one of the six Bali Nyongha group in Tiko municipality from the Bali Nyongha clan in the North West region on Sunday October 29th, 2023, praised the Mayor of Tiko Council, HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III for the development strides he has been carrying out throughout the Municipality in general and Mutengene in particular.

The event that took place at the Ndah Manjong (House for Manjong) behind Plantecam in Mutengene, brought together Sons and Daughters of the Bali Manjong from Cameroon and the diaspora.

Speaking during the event, the President of Bali Manjong Community in Mutengene, Bah Nyawusi thanked Mayor Mesoso for what he has been doing to the Bali people in Mutengene, praised him for the flow of portable water throughout Mutengene and congratulated Tiko Council under the stewardship of Mayor Mesoso III for their brilliant victory during the 2023 Clean city Award that saw the council grabbing the fourth spot nationwide.

The ceremony that was spiced with traditional display by dance groups and speeches, saw the Bali Manjong Community in Mutengene dressed the Mayor and his wife in the North West traditional regalia.

The Mayor on his part thanked the Bali Manjong Community in Mutengene for always being by him and promised to support them in all their activities. The Mayor was accompanied by the Chief of Fue village, Secretary General of Tiko Council, Mrs. Eri Tatason, 4th Deputy Mayor, Waindim Rudolf and some of his close collaborators.

It should be noted that the Bali Manjong Community in Mutengene that has existed for over 50 years, has over two hundred members open to Bali and non-Bali indegenes.
