Friday, April 11th, 2025 was another turning point in the history of the Tiko Born Association as they reaffirmed their commitment in supporting healthcare in their community by donating essential medical equipment to CMA Tiko Town Subdivisional Hospital.
The donation included crucial surgical tools such as a self-retractor, retractors, a bladder retractor, and tissue forceps. This latest contribution serves as a completion of a previous donation made by the association, which included an autoclave and other medical equipment.
During the handover ceremony, the Chief Medical Officer of CMA Tiko Town, Dr. Pallissa Marlyse, expressed profound appreciation for the generous gesture. She highlighted the significant impact these medical tools will have in enhancing healthcare delivery at the hospital.
The event was attended by members of the Tiko Born Association, led by their president, Mr. Gabriel Sinju and staff of CMA Tiko Town popularly called NA. The association remains dedicated to improving healthcare facilities in Tiko, demonstrating a strong spirit of community service and solidarity.
This initiative marks another milestone in the association’s ongoing efforts to equip local health institutions with necessary resources, ensuring better medical care for residents of Tiko subdivision.
