Located at the foot of Mount Fako in the South West region, less than 50km from Douala, the TIKO Golf Course is one of the oldest golf course in the country.
Very flat with very clear fairways and only a few water points, it is a course that lends itself to high level contests. It is the preferred course for players with low handicaps.
During the dry season, major golf tournaments are held there, as it is one of only 2 major golf courses in Cameroon.
Accessible in about 45 minutes from Douala, it is recommended to go there very early in the morning to take advantage of the freshness.
Open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m, this golf course is one of the two 18 holes in the country with that of Yaounde.
A lovely 18-hole course, with enough complications to keep it interesting yet simple enough to keep one encouraged. Pro trainers are permanently available for those who would like to take golf lessons.
