Barely a week into the 2024 financial year, Tiko Council under the stewardship of Mayor HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III are into the field to begin with the action plan of the year.
Feasibility studies on the pavements of the road from the Likomba bridge passing through the market to the pavement road at Tchombes quarter in Likomba took place on Thursday, January 11th, 2024.
The team headed by the Communal Development Officer of Tiko Council, HRH Mbollo Ndedi Yves Patrice on instructions by Mayor HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III was accompanied by Officials and Engineers from the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing and Public works and the Technical Service at Tiko Council.
The Delegation were in the field to evaluate how the work will be carried out for the population of Likomba to have their own share of Tiko Council cake.
It should be noted that the pavements of this road is part of Mayor Mesoso III activities in his Action Plan for the 2024 Financial Year.
The pavements of the road will begin in the weeks ahead after the contract has been awarded.
The pavements of this road will ease the movement persons and their goods in this cosmopolitan community of Likomba who last year benefitted from a modern bridge over the Ndongo River thanks to Tiko Council.
