In a bid to win the clean city award 2023, Tiko Council through its Shepherd, the Lord Mayor, HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III today Wednesday July 5th, 2023 launched a campaign dubbed “Clean City Tiko Council 2023”.
The exercise that will run for over one month aim at keeping the Tiko municipality clean ahead of the clean city award that has been launched with Fako Senior Divisional Officer incharge of inspection and evaluation.
So far, denizens throughout the municipality were selected for the exercise which was launched with the Mayor, HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III and his team moving from one zone to the other.
It should be noted that the clean city Tiko Council 2023 will involve the four zones that make up Tiko municipality namely; Likomba, Tiko Central, Mongo and Mutengene. To Mayor Mesoso III, keeping Tiko Clean, is not all about the clean city award but his joy as his municipality is the gateway into the South West region.
