Ahead of the 2024 Budget Orientation Debate, the gateway city council of Tiko has been moving from one zones to the other to prepare ground works.
After meeting one on one with the population of Zones 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Mutengene to get the priority projects of the area to prepare for the budget orientation that will pave the way for the budgetary session, Tiko Council officials on Sunday August 11th, 2024 visited the denizens of Zones 14 and 17 (Mongo Zone) to listen to their worries.
The Delegation that was headed by the 4th Deputy Mayor, Waindim Rudolf on behalf of Mayor HRH Peter Ikome Mesoso III accompanied by the Head of Local Solutions, Mr. Julius Sone, Chief of Socio- Cultural, Mr. Douala Dipita and Mr. Fombom Patrick were received by the Zonal Committee Executives of the Mongo Zone.
From Moque native through Missaka, Mondoni and Misellelle villages the population came out in their numbers for a clean up campaign and later gave their needs to the Tiko Council’s Delegation ahead of the Budget Orientation Debate.
It should be noted that with all these, Tiko Council was recently appreciated by ivefcam as to ground works done so far in it’s citizen consultation drive.
The exercise to end on August 16th, 2024 will on Thursday be at Zones 10 and 12 (Long Street and Motombolombo) Tiko Zone and Friday August 16th at Zones 6 and 8 in Likomba.
