Councils in Fako Division and Douala drill on civil status registry quality customer service.

Secretary generals, civil status focal persons and communication officers from councils in Fako Division and Douala are presently attending a three days workshop on the improvement of the customer service quality at the civil status registry in Douala.

The training organized by the support program for the modernization of civil status registration and vital statistics known in it’s French acronym as PAMEC, was declared open by the representative of GIZ, Madam Catherine Meyong who called on the participants to do their best so that the civil status registry should take a different shape.

During the three days training, participants will be drilled in presentations such as; causes and impact of poor reception in civil status registry, quality of services in the administration, techniques of the service norm and a visit to a civil status registry in Douala.

Facilitating the session, Mr. Baleh reminded the participants to go back to their various councils and put everything they learned into practice.

It should be noted that Tiko Council Delegation to the workshop is headed by the Chief of Administration, Mrs. Achanga Carolinda Bih.
